I have long said that Twitter is a great marketing tool, a great way to increase traffic and a great addition to your Affiliate bottom line. The more I deep dive into the world of Twitter the more that I realize that making a healthy side income with Twitter is extremely probable. Hello Fellow Tweeters!

Like the title says, I just hit 2500 followers and I have to say that the response that I am getting when I Tweet one of my links is amazing! It has helped me get better rankings with Google all over the board.

I personally use all free ways of marketing and it can be tough to gain good position with Google and even harder to maintain it. Having a growing following on Twitter allows me to send a lot of people to any of my websites,articles, blogs,adds, you name it and I send them there!

Twitter is one of my favorite new marketing tools but how much marketing is too much? The answer is not as straight forward as it seems and really depends on how much you tweet on a normal basis. The general rule of thumb is to market every 7 to 9 tweets. That is 6 -8 non-marketing tweets for every 1 marketing tweet.

Mix it up! Don't always send out the same type of twitter message. Often the best tweets make a statement, take a stance or tell a joke! Get creative!
